The Orange Hornet is an exceptionally rare, high-end freshwater aquarium shrimp belonging to the Caridina family. First bred by master breeders in Taiwan, this stunning variety was developed through the selective breeding of Fancy Tiger shrimp lines.

Appearance: It showcases a bold, vivid orange or yellow base body wrapped in sharp, contrasting dark tiger bands or metallic purple-black stripes.
The "Hornet" Pattern: A defining feature is a very broad, solid dorsal stripe running along its back that breaks down into fine, intricate patterns near the head.
Care Requirements: Unlike the hardy Neocaridina "Red Demon", the Orange Hornet is a sensitive, expert-level shrimp. It demands strict, stable water parameters. They require soft, slightly acidic water, active buffering substrate, and precise temperature controls to thrive.
